There are walks from the farm gate whichever way you turn. You can go on a circular walk through Castern or Dovedale or walk over the hills to The Old Dog pub at Thorpe and fuel up for the walk back.

Guided Tours of Ashbourne
Every Thursday and Saturday there are free and very popular guided tours of Ashbourne, at 11.00am from the Ashbourne Tourist Information Centre.
Walk your legs off!
You can walk in any direction from Beechenhill and find glorious views and secret places. Ilam village is settled in the heart of the National Trust's South Peak Estate, so much of the land around Beechenhill is open access.

Accessible Trails
At Tittesworth Water, you can hire a 'Tramper' off road wheeled vehicle for a small fee. To discuss hiring it, please call 01538 300563. There are accessible trails around the reservoir and through the woods.
